Nick and I do EVERYTHING together. If I am not at school I am waiting around for him at work. I walk around pretend like I am helping when really I am talking away telling him about all my drama.

Valentines Day was wonderful!! Of course I had school all day on Valentines Day and Nick had work but we made time to have lunch and dinner together.

On my first break from class we went to Costa Vida, Nick surprised me with flowers. During lunch I gave Nick the first part of his gift. I got him and I tickets to go see the Jet and airplane show in St. George. Nick LOVES jets. We happen to live right next to the air force base, so dozens of jet set off everyday and Nick can't just get enough of it.

Later on my second break from school I walked over to Crown Burger for to meet Nick for Dinner. I had class until 9:50pm so I knew this was the last Valentine's Day celebration we would get. I gave him his second gift, which was just a homemade coupon book, which he loved. During dinner we had hamburgers and a strawberry shake. It was perfect! I LOVE Nick so much. He is the most amazing person I know. He does so much for everyone else, and works so hard. Life wouldn't be the same without him.

Okay NOW for our Superbowl madness!!!!

We had two other couples over for the Superbowl. We had tons of food, hot wings, pizza, soda, treats. Lauren and Bruce and my good friends Megan and her husband Boon. Now by the looks of the pictures it is obvious to tell that Lauren and I were playing with the camera more than we were interested in the game. We had a ton of fun. It is so much fun to have couple activities especially when it is your sister and her boyfriend. I NEVER have guests over because house construction is usually underway. But the Kaysville house is finished and perfect for parties. So I was super excited to have my first party in my home. Fun was had by all and we are ready for next time.

These first three pictures is the Kaysville home. This is the very first house we bought, here are the before and after shots. This house is really coming along. We have never lived in this house, it still has a long way to go in the inside, the house is absolutely huge! And right across the street from an elementary school. But this house use to be so scary and dark, now it blends with the the neighborhood.

After we sold the Roy house that we lived in for a few months we moved here! This is our Clearfield home. We have lived here for a few months now and its really a lot of fun. Its 3 bedroom 2 baths and a new basement! This house use to be trash now it's home for a little while.The carpet, paint, counter tops, appliances are all new. I planted a really great garden in the front, my first one actually.

Lauren and I have lab every Thursday night and tonight we performed our first Venipuncture! It was made us so nervous but we did it!! It was a lot of fun. Lauren's veins are sooo small so I didn't get any blood from her, so I asked another class member if I could try and I had my first successful draw. Lauren received blood from me the first time, she was so nervous I am so proud of her for going through with it.

So life is ok as of right now. School just started again, and let me tell you it WILL NOT be an easy semester. I am sooo lucky to have my little Lauren with me so we can work together and make school more fun for the both of us. It is fun to share a college experience with a sister.

With that being said, I don't know about any of you, but I am so ready for Christmas and the end of the year. It for me is the happiest time of year. But school and trying to do well, I would rather just be done and moving on.

2011 has been bitter/sweet. My first year of marriage so far has been AMAZING! but everything else that has happened to our family lately has really been bitter. 2012 will bring new trials and experiences. Although I keep thinking of the song by Trace Adkins "Your Gonna Miss This" makes me want to hold onto the time I have in 2011. Anyways, I love this song it makes me cry!

Saturday afternoon, Nick and I decided to go for a motorcycle ride. So we packed a few water bottles and headed out. Now you see, I have never been on the freeway before while on a motorcycle, I think its crazy and scary. But I did it anyways. It wasn't to bad, the wind made face tingle the entire way. We drove for miles, and the road was beautiful! We came across a little hamburger joint where we stopped and had lunch. After eating, we walked out to the bike, got all fastened up and turned the key, when only we noticed the bike was not turning on. The battery was dead. We were miles from home and knew no one. We happened to be right next to a gas station. We asked people filling up if they happened to have a jump. No one did....But as luck would have it, a sheriff came along and helped us out. That was a HUGE relief. Now that we are back on the road again, we stop at a river (we leave the bike ON, so it doesn't shut down on us) we walk around and enjoy the scenery. 15 min later we get back on the bike, all ready to go when the bike shuts down right we push the gas. We were in trouble now. In the middle of no where and by a river. We sit for a minute or two, when I secretly said a ten second prayer in my head, right when I say amen, the nicks happens to push the start button one more time. My prayer was answered. The bike turned on! For some reason every time I say a prayer around Nick, it is usually is answered within minutes. I don't know why, but he is REALLY lucky to have me that is for sure.

10 Day Fruit and Veggie Juice Fast

We're Feelin a Lil' Fruity

For the Next ten days Nick and I will be on a strict diet... we will only eat fruit and veggies that are juiced. We recently watched a documentary on people and one particular person who did this. They go three months with only drinking the juice from vegetables and fruit. Along with exercise, they managed to lose a significant amount of weight. No other food is allowed, no snacks, for breakfast lunch and dinner, it is all juice. For the first few days of the challenge, they said they felt awful, hungry, tired and lots of horrible headaches. But as they continued further, they were getting more and more use to it. They notice, they had lost weight and that their body felt like it had received a great "cleanse". When I normally hear of my friends or others doing stupid diets like this, or cleanses, I think it is so crazy. I understand that losing weight usually all it takes is eating right, and exercise. But this time I want to do something different. Normally my diet consists, of mostly carbs; bagels and cream cheese, bread, pasta etc.... Never ever ever, do eat a piece of fruit or a vegetable. For the next ten days that is all I will be consuming. At the end of the documentary people said they felt wonderful and healthier. That it has become an everyday routine. Nick and I went a bought ourselves a juicer, and lots of fruit and veggies. The challenge starts tomorrow morning. WISH US LUCK! In the end I just hope I last the ten days. My Fruit Drink, I haven't really tried veggies yet...kind of scared since I dont like them. Its like having dessert for every meal. But we do have a lot of other combinations to try.

So we have finally started working our houses! It is a lot more work than I thought it would be. Nick and my uncle Howdy have a lot done though. Were going to live in the Roy house. Its the one with the least problems. We should start painting today, and that will be my favorite part. Also I cannot wait to start buying decorations and nic nacks. When Nick and I got married I had no idea he was handy with this kind of stuff, but I guess he is! I am actually learning a lot about real estate and so far demolition haha. Anyways this will be a new experience for all of us.

It has been the BEST DAY OF MY LIFE! I am finally engaged to Nick. It's the most exciting feeling ever. I cannot wait to start a new chapter in my life, especially with him. He is THE most amazing person, friend I have ever had. We have decided Dec. 30! Which means about 3 months to plan wedding stuff. Its going to be a riot. Soon I will no longer be known as Caroline Evans but Caroline Longshore. Its such a weird feeling knowing, that I know who he is, and that I no longer have to dream or wonder who and where he is, like in Young womans! It's also so great that everyone is sooo excited for him and I. We are surrounded but the best family friends anyone could ask for.

Life is changing all around me it seems like. From friends, activities, Nick and all the talk of marriage and what not. Its all very exciting. I LOVE having lauren here, its like good ol days again. We cling together like we use too. Our new apt. is so much fun! Lots of movies and dancing in the Living room randomly, trying to come up with new "moves" I am trying to get better at my cooking, I am def. worse than I thought I was. But its great! I will learn.
It's weird I dont know where I will be 6 months from now. I had a plan for the next two years but now its all changed, not in a bad way at all but just a different way. Who knows where I will be Utah or California? Lauren is adjusting here. Making friends, job, hopefully she starts liking boys soon. lol. Who would of thought Lauren and I would be living in Utah a year and half later. From Cali, to Rexburg and now Utah. It was been the most fun I have ever had. Learning for myself and now showing Lauren around and her being independent. Its really the best of both worlds. I love my life, and the people I share it with. I am so blessed to have Lauren and my roommate Diana with me. I am grateful for Nick, and for being my best friend. Life is great, AND dont you forget it!

So Salt Lake City, has been treating my very well thus far. I really like it. Making friends, and living in the big city is lots of fun. So last night lauren and my friends through me suprise party!! I will tell you alll about it! So i had made plans with Barbara to go hang out, she took me out to the park where she gave me this big teddy bear and cupcakes, we sat on the tables with paper and pens, and read questions from this best friendship book. Where it asked questions about that friend, we just tried to see how many we could get. Then we went to pick up Eva, yet i still didnt suspect anything, it was a typical night out. We went up to the top of the mountain and hung out for awhile, not knowing she was stalling time. Then it was time to go home, we all had to go to work in the morning, Barbara was driving me home she says "I wanna say Hi to lauren" Eva says ya me too. So I call home to let mommy there gonna come inside for a sec, Steven answers, "tell mommy barbara and eva are coming in, were in pinon now" he goes "right now!?" so we pull up to the house and its pitch BLACK. I still had noooo idea what was going on, or if anything at allwas going on at all, i didnt think anything of it. We walk up the stairs, open the door and its soo dark, i turn on my cell phone light to see, and allll of a sudden, SUPRISE!!!! they were allll quiet for a good 30 sec, before they came out! I was soooo shocked! I have such great friends. Friends from school and work.

High School Friends.

A Few Crazy Weeks!

Iv been trying to keep myself very busy, with friends and work. I only have 42 days left in Frazier, so i always am making plans. Making memories, inside jokes, and having fun. Its been a long time since iv actually just sat at home. My day usually consits of work, then hangin with Eva or other friends. Its either, valencia, beach, hanging at someones house, or anything. Im trying to leave home more and more often because i was so attached. Im having so much fun.

I dont even know. Barbara and i just being wierd.

So a few days ago, my friends kidnapped me to the movies. I havent seen these groups of friends since graduation. So today, Eva and I decided to go to the Beach and Hollywood. it was so much fun. I had spent the night at her house the night before. we woke up at 5:30 got showered and dressed. Drove to the beach and we were there for 5 hours! It was the perfect day for the beach! hot and no wind. Well during this time. we had both fallen asleep under the blazing hot sun, with NO sunscreen on. about an hour later, i woke and i yelled EVA! she jumped up. We had realized we had both fallen asleep, and were burnt to crisp. After we got lunch, we drove to Hollywood. We saw sooo many different stuff. Michael Jacksons "star" and many people dressed up as movie stars. It was a great day. Many souvenirs, including are sunburns. (I do realize that my shorts are little short but i was too burned to put my pants back on.)

So i GRADUATED! this is about the fith or sixth time I have made a post on this but it never worked hahaha. I cant believe how time goes by so fast! I am having soooo much fun! Being with my friends and working really hard, enjoying where life is taking me. The transition from a high school student to an "adult" and working full time, fourty hours a week and stressing about money is just something i will have to get use too. Also getting use to the fact that I dont wake up anymore and go to school and see all my closet friends. I see them maybe once a week if im lucky. Everyday I try to do something meaningful, something besides sitting at home, like making plans, going out, ect. And Im having so much fun and its only to get better.

So on Saturday I went to the beach wooohoo. it was sooo much fun. the water wasnt too cold. Afterwards my car went to in n out and then kohls because we were bored. It was so much fun, and it feels like my senior summer is just about to begin. =)

So A few months ago Teri had sent me a video, which i really want to thank her for. I watch this video four to five times a day. It reminds me to make good choices and when time get stressful and decisions become harder to make it reminds me what would Heavenly Father want me to do. I love this video so much because it talks about real life stuff that really matters, and not only makes you think about your life now but the after life. Its inspiring, Im so grateful i have this video, because i know most of the world doesnt know any of this. Im blessed to have this knowledge. My Senior Prom

So on May 23, 2009 was my last and Senior Prom! I had a lot of fun. I was mostly excited to go with Lauren sadly we didnt take much pictures of the two of us, only professional ones together and I dont have those yet. Well anyhoodle. It was a James Bond theme held in Ventura at the four points Sheraton Hotel. I had so much fun it was a night that I will never forget.

So this sunday was seminary graduation. Iam REALLY sad. I love seminary soooo much! I have learned so much there and have many memories I will NEVER forget. Seminary has helped me so many ways. I have learned more in seminary than I have in any other classroom.

So on April 20 a student at our high school died. He was up on mnt pinos when he fell off a cliff. Fell around 700 ft. When he fell his friend tried to grab him but she didnt catch on. He was a sophmore and played the FMHS football team. When the paramedics arrived they had to climb down the cliff. It was aorund 11pm and the paramedics had to wait because it was so dark and couldnt get him up. So well every high school across america loses someone in an accident. When i first found out I was sitting in the parking lot after seminary and my friend had texted me saying "hey u know michael manning right?'' right from then u know its never good news. Our school was mourning all day from what had happened just a few hours ealier. Coming from a very very small school eveyone is friends with eachother and word gets around fast. Even though you guys dont know him, i thought I should write it down because its just a sad story and something you cant really get off your mind. During school hours and lunch and passing periods i have never seen so many kids in one place so silent. All u heard was crying. No kids running, screaming, cussing, it was dead silent. But i guess this is a lesson to be learned. We dont know if michael happened to be on drugs when he fell because it was 4/20. but I dont think 4/20 will be "celebrated" the same ever again for those who particpate in that behavior. I personally will remember him by the kid who sat in 7th period class in California histiory. But to many many others he was much more.

So we all went to Palm Springs! It was so much fun! it was nice and sunny. Basically all we did was swim and lay out in the sun. There were a lot of people there because it was spring break. but it was a great place to be. This is very short post but I dont have any other pics hahah.

Anaheim Nationals!

So this weekend I went with my squad to Anaheim for cheer nationals. Is was sooooo much fun. I drove up there and followed behind crystals car. We stayed at the red lion hotel. We got there Thursday night and I stayed until sat afternoon. Friday was ALL about cheerleading. We would walk around the streets and hundreds of cheerleaders everywhere, in the stores, fast foods, streets it was great! Friday they performed and they did SO GREAT! although we didnt place they did there best and we had so much fun. Sat was a free day, crystal and I slept in cuz we were up all night with the cheerleaders eating and walking the streets of anaheim. So we slept in ate breakfast then went to the pool, layed out and tried to get tan. Crystal and I liked to push eachother in the pool too. anyhoodle, well the drive home was good. I was kinda nervous to get back home. I was by myself and driving in anaheim/LA traffic. But it went well. It was such a great weekend, to be with my friends and go to nationals one last time.

"A Night at the Premiere"

So saturday night was mormal. Its was my last and ONLY mormal. I went with brandon. and I had so much fun. The theme was basically Hollywood. Lauren and I danced all night and really got down. Before the actual dance we all had dinner at the church. Then we drove down past bakerfield. It was held in the middle of nowhere! but it was soooo cool. We get there in the middle of a corn field and there are lights shinning in the sky, we get out of the car and "walk the red carpet" along the enterence were old fashioned and expensive cars. After we passed that stage we walked into the dance hall with a huge Hollywood sign. Well anyhoodle, we danced all night and had a blast.

When I got off the bus I was pretty excited.

So on wed the 11th (today is the 3 month mark of three months left until graduation) anyhoodle, the academy students went to the LA zoo and the a Science musuem. IT was soooo fun. First we went to the zoo I saw all sorts of animals. then we went to the science museum where we watched a presentation about space where we layed back in chairs and watched on the roof. I had so much fun with my friends!

"You wanna take this outside?!"

So its saturday night. And I got off work at 5:30pm. so my friend Mike calls and he wants to go to the movies. So my friend Mike and Eva and of course myself decide to drive down to bakersfield. We saw taken again. Our movie didnt start until around 10pm. We had like an hour and a half to kill. So we decide to go eat. harmless kids just around town having a good time right? So we get to taco bell the place was kinda empty so I decide to make my self "comfortable". I take my shoes off and stuff. So Eva and Mike and I are sitting down eating and laughing and here comes this Lady standing outside the Taco Bell window just staring at us, so were like ummm ok. 5 min go by and she is just standing there looking at us. So mike and Eva go and fill up there sodas and I am left at the table, I decide to glance at her, I look and she is cussing me out!!!!!! I was like woha! chill out. but I cant hear her cuz she is outside. So i RUN across the taco bell with no shoes on to the soda where mike was. I was like she is yelling at me and were all laughing. Mike decides to back to the table cuz our phones and wallets were left there. So the lady comes inside and yelling to mike. and eva and I are hiding by the soda. hahah. So i decided to walk over and I said hahah "What seems to be the problem here?" she is yelling and cussing and was like " you guys are laughing and looking at me cuz I am MEXICAN!!!" Eva was in shock so she kina just stood there. Mike and I were like "Lady we were not laughing at you." so we let her say some stuff and mike and I are just talking back like as nice as we could haha. sorta. So I was like "hey u know what, have a nice day." She was I am mexican I am human and i have feelings too, we were all "we NEVER said u didnt we dont even KNOW you!" So looking at mike and I she said "wanna take this outside!?" I was like no not really. hahha. Anyhoodle She was picking a fight with 3 teens 17, 18, and 20 years old and she honeslty wanted to fight us outside of a TACO BELL haha. it was like 9:30pm too! well we went our seperate ways, and now we all just laugh at the lady inside. Cuz I am sure she had some personal issues and decided to take it out on us. Now we have a funny and kida disturbing memory of the taco bell in bakersfield.

A different Kind of Monday

So I was at school today it started of like anyother monday. I was in class (4th period tech) talking to my friend Oliva. Maybe 30 min into class a girl walks up to me with a single red rose and a note in it. it say "will you" Then I knew it was someone asking me to mormal. Here comes the second rose by a different girl Saying "Go to" and u guess it, the third rose "mormal" and these are girls I do not know. So here comes along Brandon with the last rose "with me" I was like bright red, I had heard he was going to ask me but this was way out there. So I jumped up and gave him a hug, and also reminding you this is the middle of class!! So to make EVEN more embarassing the class starts to clap and you can hear all the girls "awwww!" so that is my story on how I got asked to mormal! This is definantly journal worthy.

So these are the notes that were in the flowers haha.

And me when I got home from school with my flowers. I am going to put one in my journal and smash it. so it will be there twenty years from now.

Which Road to Take?

So lately I have been thinking on so many very important inssues in my life. Professions and what not. As you all may know that I want to become an EMT. When I move out of the house I will be looking for Paramedic/EMT schools, BYU idaho does provide it but there is a high posibilty I will not get in. So I must turn to plan B. I must find another school where I can get my credentials.

Another option that I have not told most people of is going on a mission. I still havent decided. but its really up to me and the Lord. Which I have not really fully understand what I should do yet on that topic. Going on a mission is a VERY big posibilty as well. But its still up in the clouds.

I still have soooo much more thinking to do and so much more praying but hopfuly and soon I will find a place to go where I am suppose to be.

But it has been a real blessing to have such a good job. Even though sometimes I cant stand it but I love it very much! This has been my first job since I was sixteen and I wouldnt have it anyother way! When I look back twenty years from now I am really gonna miss the Jack in the Box in Lebec California store #3273.

So every year we have a seminary breakfast. Usually is the day before we leave for christmas break but there was no school because of the snow. So we had a New Years breakfast! It was a blast. Senior night!

So last friday my my LAST home football game. For the rest of my life!!! it was sooo sad it is my third year doing cheer. So usaully for the senior football player and senior cheerleaders between games the kid and his/her parents walks down the football field with them, while they announce there names and best cheerleading moment, at the end of the walk you get your picture taken.

Last Saturday a group of me and 6 other friends went to Bakersfield to celebrate Kailie Shilligs and Scott Flemings birthdays. For Kailie is was a surprise. She came over thinking we were going to practice for a talent show, so she came into the house and we were all hiding in the bathroom, I was pretending to get ready while everyone was stuffed in the shower. She knocked on the door and came in and "SURPRISE!!!" she freaked out she didnt know how to react. It was so much fun. I drove, and we went to the movies and Saw Eagle eye (which I highly recomend) Then maybe arounf 7pm we went to Applebee's for dinner it was loads of fun!! It was me, Lauren, Scott, Kailie, Crystal, Erick and Leah.

Our half time was so fun because we got to do the kick line. While we do the kick line we are always laughing because we feel like idiots! But it was a blast. We played the school Bell Jefferson, we were winning the whole game until the end we lost by ONE point 19-20. It was so intense EVERYONE was screaming up and down. Our JV did win 26-6.

So last Sat. the south stake youth performed an event of each stake performing differnent countries. We were Japan. We learned a dance, I am a child of God in Japaneese, we wrote our testimonies in Books of Mormon and sent them to Japan for members and non members to read. Our performance was in front of the stake and Bakersfield community, we where a HIT!!!! we worked so hard!

hahah well on the 30th I got my wisdom teeth pulled. My cheecks are really big and they hurt. It was my first time being put out to sleep for anything. It was a great expierence. All I remember is they out the mask on and then I woke up on the dentist couch. It was all over. Its wierd how I dont remember anything else of the operation of my teeth. Its kinda scary that something can do that! hahaha. Its really hard to eat anything. The only plus side is... I dont have to go to work or couple days!
